David Band (1959–2011)

David Band was a Scottish-born artist and designer whose work moved with ease between painting, printmaking, drawing, and design. His archive reflects a career spanning more than three decades, with exhibitions in Australia and internationally. His work is held in collections including the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as corporate and private collections in Australia and overseas.
